5 Things to Know about Making Your Picks

  1.  Only pick games with two FBS teams. Games with an FCS team (formerly Div. 1-AA) are not eligible to be picked.

  2. Only pick teams that appear on the point spreads page. If a team is not in the point spreads, it is either idle or playing an FCS team.

  3. To play a Lock of the Week, it has to be one of your five picks. It is not a sixth pick. Pick your five games, then choose one of those five as your lock.

  4. Make sure any game you pick has not kicked off. Picking a game that has started results in a loss.

  5. Print or screenshot your confirmation page in case there's a question about your picks.

Instructions

  1. Week 1 is all NCAA games.

  2. Check the Point Spreads page to make sure the team you want to pick is on the schedule. If your team is not on the Point Spreads page, you cannot pick it.

  3. Picks must be submitted prior to the start of any game you select. If you pick a game that has already started it will be considered a loss.

  4. The Lock is optional. To play the Lock, pick one of your five games and select it under Lock in the form below. A correct pick on the Lock is worth an additional ½ point. A miss is a ½-point deduction.

  5. Double-check your picks and click on the SUBMIT button.

  6. You should see a confirmation page listing your picks. If you do not get the confirmation page, resubmit.

  7. Print or screenshot the confirmation for your records in case there is a dispute that needs to be settled.

  8.  If you change your mind about a pick prior to any selected games starting, you may resubmit. When one game you have selected starts, all your picks are locked and you may not make further changes even if you made an error.

  9. If you are late submitting picks and there are not enough games to choose from, you may pick any games left on the schedule. Choose "No Pick" from the drop down menu for any picks where you do not have teams to choose from. No Pick is the first choice in the drop down menu.

  10. If there is a problem or you receive errors, submit by e-mail to poolmaster@pigskinmania.net.
